The aim of our Holiday Arts work, in line with our workshop programme for adults, was to encourage groups of children to find imaginative expression of their ideas and experiences and to develop creative skills, such as handling a video camera, tape recorder or duplicator and learning to silkscreen or tie dye. At the end of each day, up to 100 children would come together in the Madeley Court Resource Centre to collect their copy of the daily paper and to watch the drama that had been created. In this photo, members of the drama workshop are presenting their play about bullying.
