A group of reporters mull over the contents of the Holiday Arts daily newspaper. The paper included jokes, puzzles, cartoons and witty observations about every day life. Often there were interviews and comments about the other activities going on in the Holiday Arts Centre. These included raku pottery, music and drama, video film making, photography, puppetry, sculpture, kites, wall painting and carnival processions. The facilities in the print shop, including silk-screen, letter press and duplicator, were used to bring out the Holiday Arts daily newspaper.
Our holiday arts programme also involved touring the Wrekin District permanent and holiday playschemes with a variety of performances (theatre, dance, puppets and music) and activities (theatre games, drama, music, dance, photography, silkscreen printing, video filming, puppets, newspaper making and mural painting).
