This video film, made by the Hands of Our Park (HOOP) campaign, exposes the plans of the Telford Development Corporation to devastate our beautiful Town Park with an ‘Alton Towers’ leisure centre and executive housing. ‘Someone is making some unpopular decisions but no-one is quite sure who’, the film claims. That is why we have characterised TDC as a faceless bowler-hatted bureaucrat out to make a quick profit rather than serve the long term interests of the community’.
