A highly theatrical show with music. stylised movement and flags, No More Cream Buns explores the experiences of workers as they move in search of a job from village to town and country to country. Starting off with the greatest hopes for a better life, they find that when they arrive, they are offered the most monotonous jobs with the lowest pay and the worst conditions. This show in Ironbridge was the first performance of No More Cream Buns.
