Children Before Traffic Campaign (1980)

The Children before Traffic Campaign was set up following a series of accidents on the Sutton Hill perimeter road. We designed and printed a poster and made a banner which became a highlight of our demonstrations. By 1981, the Campaign had persuaded the authorities to reduce the speed limit on the road in question, erect hazard lights to warn motorists and place barriers to stop children running out into the road.
